LL Cool J is definitely an Old School rapper. He released his
first single "I Can't Live Without My Radio" in 1985 (at only
19 years of age)
Radio (1985) was a huge hit and went platinum in 1986. In 1987, his
second album Bigger and Deffer shot to number three due to the ballad
"I Need Love,"
LL Cool J has also did movie work. He was in the The Hard Way
(1991) and Toys. He played at Bill Clinton's Presidential
Inauguration in 1993.
